Tweddle is a leading state-wide, not-for-profit early parenting service. Supporting you and your family throughout the transition from pregnancy to parenting. We address a range of concerns such as sleep and settling, health and wellbeing, behaviour, and attachment-related challenges for your baby, toddler, or preschooler.
Referring yourself to Tweddle is a simple step towards accessing our supportive and inclusive programs. Additionally, you can reach out to your GP, Maternal and Child Health Nurse, or Family Services support worker, who can guide you to Tweddle’s services. Building Strong Families Together: Free Early Parenting Support Programs
Residential Program
Our focus is on early intervention and prevention, targeting sleep and settling, building strong attachments, enhancing resilience, and helping you decipher your baby’s cues.
Day Stay
Spend the day with fellow parents, all navigating the challenges of parenthood. Our focus is on supporting each other and empowering your family.
Telehealth Program
Our experienced Tweddle Practitioners offer 30-minute telephone consultations, providing support and guidance on sleep and settling, parenting uncertainty, and various other issues.
In-Home Support
Tweddle’s no-cost in-home support is a valuable program offering two 2-hour home visits to families across the West. We provides gentle solutions to assist your baby or young child learn to sleep, settle, and address various parenting concerns.
Early Help
Early Help Family Service is a collaborative program by Anglicare Victoria, Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA), and Tweddle, offering inclusive support to families in Western Melbourne with children aged 0-18.
Growing Great Babies and Kids
Getting ready for a baby and becoming a parent can be challenging. The Growing Great Babies and Kids team helps growing families access tailored support anytime during pregnancy and the first few weeks after the baby is born.
Parental Leave Care Program
Stepping back into your work routine after parental leave can feel daunting. Worries about childcare, sleepless nights, feeding schedules, and workplace changes? Tweddle understands. That’s why we offer our supportive Parental Leave Care Program, designed to ease the transition for both mums and dads.
Brimbank Playsteps
Looking for a way to build stronger bonds with your little one, while having fun and connecting with other parents? This free 8-week program welcomes mums, dads, foster parents, and primary carers with babies and toddlers aged 8 months to 2 years.
Working Out Dads
Feeling the juggle of fatherhood, wanting to be the best dad you can be, but unsure where to start? Look no further than Working Out Dads, your comprehensive support system designed by dads, for dads. We understand the unique challenges and triumphs of modern fatherhood, and we’re here to empower you on every step of your journey.
Parenting Assessment and Skills Development
Tweddle’s Parenting Assessment and Skills Development Service (PASDS) is available to parents who have children between 0 and 3 years who are currently working with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).
Home Parenting Education Support Service
HoPES is an 8-week home-based intensive parenting program for families with children aged 0-4 years, who are currently involved with Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) and/or family services in a case management capacity.
Prison Program
Our one-on-one or group parenting sessions encourage open, supportive and honest discussions relevant to mums and dads in the custodial system. We help parents identify and develop their parenting strengths and practical ways to enhance parent-child relationships.

Tweddle’s Customised Day Stay Program in Footscray offers a unique opportunity for parents to spend a day one-on-one, with a specialist Tweddle Clinician.
Telephone Consultations
Tweddle provides customised fee-for-service consultations, offering families flexibility and personalised support through both telephone and telehealth options.
Childbirth Education
We offer a wide range of education classes to provide the best care for parents before and after the birth of their baby.
