Tweddle needs help to transform the residential unit outdoor children’s play area and create a welcoming and happy space for stressed and anxious families. On Saturday the 11th of November between 9am and 4pm we will be hosting a working bee. Do you have general handyman skills or carpentry skills or can donate materials? Can you spare an hour or two? The following tasks will complete our transformation…

  • Relocating and updating a cubby house and creating soft fall area (barrowing in tan bark)
  • Installing and painting privacy screens
  • pulling out a garden bed and planting a smaller bed
  • installing a artificial turf
  • installing a sandpit
  • installing a childs sink area
  • painting a brick wall
  • cleaning existing soft fall area
  • Installation of children’s play activity items

If you’ve been following Tweddle’s Facebook page you would know that an incredible team of ‘Friends Of Tweddle’ volunteers lead by Jo Norton, friends, family members and Tweddle staff are transforming the residential unit. Now the outside needs attention. If you can lend a hand contact Kerrie Gottliebsen or Sue Wilson on (03) 9689 1577 or send an email.
