Tweddle is delighted to announce Solange Uwingeneye as Tweddle’s new Parenting Assessment and Skills Development (PASDS) program Coordinator. Born in Rwanda, Solange joins Tweddle as a registered nurse with extensive midwifery skills, and public health background established in Australia and Africa.

Solange, who is a mother of three children, is dedicated to empowering, educating, supporting and advocating for vulnerable families. Her experience includes working across government, health sector and education settings.

Solange said she has a desire to help the most vulnerable in the community: “ I find it extremely rewarding to assist individuals or groups of people facing obstacles to high-quality health care, including those with low level of health literacy to meet their health and wellbeing needs”.

After a number of months working with the clinical team, Solange has already shown her compassion and dedication to improving the health and wellbeing needs of babies, toddlers and their families.
