Support For Families Over The Holidays

The stress of the festive period, whether it be stretching our finances or attending functions can catch up with us. Our babies and toddlers can sense when we’re stressed and anxious. It is important to remember to take a breather and make time to just ‘be’ with them. Here we talk about routines and traditions, safety over Summer and asking for help using a range of 24/7 help lines. Tweddle Clinicians Welcome Children's Rights Report Findings

Tweddle clinicians working with distressed infants and their families impacted by family violence welcomed the findings of The Children’s Rights Report 2015 launched on Monday 7th December. The report includes new data on the numbers of children estimated to have witnessed violence against their mother. Importantly, a clear need for early intervention, from a child's conception, especially in the early years of a child's life is outlined in the report.Read more...

Tweddle's MyTime peer support groups open in Brimbank

Tweddle's Footscray MyTime Group, a peer support group for parents and carers of children 0-16 with additional needs, is relocating to Sunshine Special Developmental School in 2016. All MyTime groups will recommence from Monday the 8th of February 2016.Read more...

Tweddle baby from 1939 joins 95th AGM

Tweddle Chair Dr Nicole Milburn joined Treasurer Melanie Edwards, Board members and CEO Ms Jacquie O Brien in presenting the 2014/15 annual report at Tweddle’s 95th AGM on Wednesday 25th November. New Board members were announced, partnerships, funding and achievements were acknowledged and a Tweddle baby from 1939 helped us to celebrate. Read more...
