Exciting Changes and Opportunities at Tweddle

After 95 years of providing child and parenting programs and services to the Victorian community, Tweddle is pleased to announce that from April our Residential Parenting Program is being scaled up from a 4 day program to a 5 day program. This will be a relief for families that are struggling to cope and requiring the support of our multidisciplinary team. We look forward to announcing our new Director of Nursing and welcome a new Nurse Unit Manager. We have new fundraising initiatives to announce after Easter and are currently recruiting for an Operations Coordinator and a Parenting Assessment and Skills Development Care Coordinator. Save the date for a picnic in the park

Save the date! Tweddle are partnering with The Maribyrnong, Moonee Valley and Brimbank Councils to celebrate National Playgroup Week. Pack a picnic and bring the kids down to E.A Coulson Gardens, The Espalande, Maribyrnong on Wednesday March 25 from 10.30am - 1pm. Men signing up for better health

As an organisation committed to the mental health of dads, Tweddle knows that changing the course of a man’s health is no mean feat. When men look after their health and wellbeing, their physical and mental health outcomes improve, their children’s outcomes improve and families and communities benefit. So when hundreds of men from the Maribyrnong, Hobson’s Bay, Wyndham, Melton and Brimbank municipalities turned up en masse at various health expos held in March to sign up for the 2015 Sons of the West Men’s Health Program, there was a great feeling in the air.Read more...
