Tweddle has a proud history of clinical excellence and an ongoing commitment to supporting the most vulnerable of families.  To ensure we continue with this vital work, we are delighted to announce Tweddle’s newly appointed Director of Nursing and Clinical Practice, Doreen Power.  Ms Power has taken on the important role of maintaining and strengthening our clinical governance and frameworks that underpin our early intervention and prevention services.

Ms Power has experience in the fields of Community Health, Regional Health Service and Acute Metropolitan health services including paediatric and obstetric units.

Doreen is excited about working with the Tweddle team  “ I would like to thank all the staff for making me feel so welcome” She said.  “I am looking forward to working with everyone to showcase Tweddle’s important community support programs. I'm also excited about developing new services that continue to promote Tweddle as a leader in the field of early childhood interventions”

She will be working closely with our multi disciplinary team.  Practice Lead Kanthi Sayers, Community Services Manager Sue Wilson, Quality Manager Wendy Grant and Residential Services Nurse Unit Manager Janis Shoesmith will support her to deliver programs underpinned by the latest evidence that improve outcomes for children.

We look forward to her leadership in positioning and advancing Tweddle as we move forard in the evolution of our services.
