Families and community services celebrate Children's Week

Tweddle had a great time with many other community services and families at the Maribyrnong Council Children's Week picnic in Yarraville gardens. Although a little drizzly, we were able to share information about our MyTime and Psychology service. Kylee from our MyTime team coordinated a Children’s Week painting with hand and foot prints of MyTime children.Read more...

Tweddle Partner with Maribyrnong Council for Children's Week's

Saturday 19th - 27th October is Children's Week and Tweddle will be joining Maribyrnong Council and Community Partners at a 'Picnic in the park' on Tuesday 22nd October 10.30am-12.30pm in the Yarraville Gardens. Come down and chat with Kanthi from the Tweddle Psychology team and Eleni from our MyTime Program. There'll be face painting, story telling, women's circus and pampering massages. Benevolent Society Report recommends early years investment.

The Benevolent Society has released a report to mark its 200th Anniversary that sounds a serious warning about the wellbeing of Australia’s children, and unsustainable future costs to fix social problems which can be prevented by more investment in support for families during children’s early years. The report shows that the solution is acting early, especially by providing parenting support and early learning for children under five. Read more...
