Tweddle commend the release of 'Victoria's Vulnerable Children' strategy 2013-2022

It’s been twelve months since the Government and the Protecting Victoria's Vulnerable Children's Inquiry Panel handed down their comprehensive report and vision for systemic change to services for vulnerable families. This has been followed by the Victoria’s Vulnerable Children – Our Shared Responsibility strategy.

Developmental delay and disability resources on Tweddle's MyTime Page

My time is now building a resources section for families of children with a developmental delay or disability. We’ve just updated our section to include links to incredibly useful resources from the Raising Children Network, the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Association for Children with a Disability.

Every year Tweddle's specialised team of maternal and child health nurses, registered and mothercraft nurses, psychologists, social workers, lactation consultants and early childhood professionals provide support to over 4,000 families for concerns ranging from sleep and settling, to challenging toddler behaviour, lactation support, mental illness and isolation.

We offer day stay and residential programs, support for parents of children with a disability, developmental delay or chronic illness (My Time), one on one and group psychology support, preparation for childbirth and parenting education classes and a program for parents in prison.
